It was sweet enough, but the characters fell a little flat to me. For one, he has a January deadline he needs to finish. Lexi, however, is determined to work her housewarming magic and bring holiday cheer to the sad and cranky family.

Abh was a particularly moving scene where a family opened up about past pain and started the first step toward healing through bonding and remembering the good instead of just the agony of loss.

But Lexi meets Kyle in an unpleasant way, he is destroying her snow man. This is a great book for mothers and daughters or for the whole family to read heathef.

I guess I got what I paid for. Want to Read saving…. It was a light hearted, humorous, chick-flick-in-a-book story that allows people to curl up with a good book for an afternoon.

This story was exactly what I heathrr looking for. Lexi never took her kids over to Kyle’s for ice cream, so he ends up surprising her and her kids on her door step.
He is a best selling novelist. Christmas Street 4 books. Can she and her children break through the wall of sadness he and his family erect this time of year? Jan 14, Katie W rated it really liked it Shelves: Despite her cheery disposition, the perky homemaker is no stranger to loss.

Thank you Holly, Delia and Marjorie for the input! This novella starts out with a lot of potential and then Lexi Anderson our female character reminded me a lot of Brie from Desperate Housewives and I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
